Hunting country extends east from Tulla to Feakle, Mount Shannon, Whitegate and on to the Galway border. It stretches all the way south along the shore of Lough Derg through Killaloe and on to Clonlara. West of Clonlara it takes in Parteen and Broadford to the north thence to O’Callaghan’s Mills and back to Tulla. With the Slieve Bernagh Mountain in the middle of the hunting country over looking Lough Derg, the East Clare country encompasses some of the most spectacular country in Ireland. Visitors have often confessed to being awe struck by the views. The terrain is quite mixed with stone walls and banks, high and low country, drains and hedge ditches. There is something to suit all tastes and abilities.

Wild West Pig & Porter Night 18th September 2010

We will be holding a Pig & Porter night on Saturday 18^th September in the Marquee at Danny's Bar in Broadford, Co. Clare. This will be a fun packed night with music by “Word for Word”, Pig cooked on the Spit, a monster raffle, and a bucking bronco; so dig out those cowboy boots as there will be a prize for the best turned out Western outfit! The night kicks off at 9pm & the bucking bronco will be great practice for the hunting field in the 2010 /2011 season!!
